Waste and soil sampling

For more than 10 years, ELLE Environmental Research Laboratory has been accredited to carry out soil and waste sampling according to standards:

• LVS ISO 10381-1:2002 Soil quality - Sampling - Part 1: Guidance on the design of sampling programmes;

• LVS ISO 10381-2:2002 Soil quality - Sampling - Part 2: Guidance on sampling techniques;

• LVS ISO 10381-5:2005 Soil quality - Sampling - Part 5: Guidance on the procedure for the investigation of urban and industrial sites with regard to soil contamination;

• EVS-EN 14899:2006 Characterization of waste - Sampling of waste materials - Framework for the preparation and application of a Sampling Plan.

Measurements of physicochemical parameters of water

In addition to the accreditation scope, the Environmental Research Laboratory offers measurements of water physicochemical parameters, using a device manufactured by the company YSI from the USA. The equipment provides measurements of the full water body profile, by simultaneously recording the following parameters:

• Depth

• Dissolved oxygen

• Temperature

• Electrical conductivity

• Water pH
